This Privacy Policy explains what information Comic Book Roadmap (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with a provider such as Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile identifier to create and manage your account.
- Usage content. Reading orders you build, issues you mark as read, votes, and feedback you submit.
- Payment information. When you subscribe to Patron, payment is processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card details; we receive confirmation of your subscription status.
- Technical data. Basic, largely aggregated analytics (such as page views) to keep the Service running and improve it.
2. How we use information
- to provide and maintain your account and reading history;
- to process and manage Patron subscriptions;
- to respond to feedback and support requests;
- to secure, operate, and improve the Service.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Service providers
We rely on third parties to operate the Service, including:
- Authentication providers (e.g. Google) to sign you in;
- a payment processor to process subscriptions and taxes, subject to its own privacy policy;
- Hosting and database providers that store your account and content data.
These providers only receive the data needed to perform their function.
4. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your account page, which permanently removes your reading order, read history, and votes.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can exercise most of these directly through your account, or by contacting us.
6. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to run basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
