1. Overview
Comic Book Roadmap (“the Service”, “we”, “us”) is a website that provides curated comic-book reading orders and tools to track which issues you have read. By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Accounts
Some features require an account, which you create by signing in with a supported provider (such as Google). You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
3. Patron memberships
Comic Book Roadmap is free to browse. A paid Patron membership unlocks additional software features. Patron is a recurring subscription that renews automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; access to Patron features continues until the end of the current paid period.
Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. Prices are shown in USD unless stated otherwise and may change with notice for future billing periods. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe others’ rights using the Service;
- disrupt, overload, scrape at scale, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service;
- upload content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringing when creating community reading orders or feedback.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Content and intellectual property
Comic-book metadata (titles, issues, cover information) is provided courtesy of the Grand Comics Database™ under a Creative Commons Attribution license. We do not sell, host, or distribute comic-book issues themselves. Comic characters and artwork are the property of their respective rights holders. Reading orders and other content you create remain yours; by posting a community reading order you grant us a license to display it on the Service.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
